I think writing a second post for this blog is already a big step forward... many blogs, I think, don't go beyond a dozen posts for a week or two at most, and then they're abandoned. I myself had one on IG and it literally didn't get past the first post. So, why have another one? And after all, what exactly is a blog?
Let's take it one step at a time: why have a blog? Of course, the question refers only to me. Everyone can have their own blog to post whatever is wanted, but why would I, Rosenvaldo, need a blog? It depends on what exactly a blog is, and so let's move on to the second question: and after all, what exactly is a blog?
Before I go any further, so as not to miss the opportunity, I'm listening to 'Cradle Rock' by an unknown band called The Heartbreakers, who flourished – flourishing is a way of speaking that the Greeks used to refer to people whose birth dates they didn't know exactly, but who had a peak moment in their lives to the point of being remembered – anyway, a band that flourished, I believe, in California at the end of the 1950s. They have a kind of bee-bop style... and the song 'Cradle Rock' is an excellent ballad... if you want to know where to find it, just look in used record stores for a Frank Zappa CD called 'Cucamonga'... a rare and fine thing... But, what is a blog?
The first idea that comes to mind is that it's a kind of online diary. A diary that the owner uses to frequently narrate their hardships and adventures to the world.
The second idea that comes to mind is that it's a kind of personal page, except much easier to create and you don't need to know anything about HTML.
The third idea is that it be a personal forum, where the owner posts texts for visitors to comment on.
The fourth idea is that it be an online book, which the owner uses to add new parts every day, until it is complete to his desire.
The fifth idea, a little more exotic, is that it be an online notebook, serving more as an electronic archive that the owner keeps on a server somewhere outside their home, so that their memories are preserved for posterity.
Each idea has its merits and demerits, and I still don't know what I'm going to do with this blog of mine, but this text is a start.
